Detached house - Porvoo
In this detached house in Porvoo, the old ventilation unit was already 36 years old and at the end of its service life. It was evident in indoor air and fireplace operation: the fireplace and wood stove smoked indoors, and occasionally there was a smell of soot. Additionally, bedrooms had stale air when doors were closed. We upgraded the system to a modern heat recovery solution and balanced the ventilation - now fireplaces work properly, bedrooms stay fresh and the unit is very quiet.
